Crushed but not Broken~I've been doing a lot of thinking.Crushed but not Broken~ by JackdawTheFabulous
It has almost been a year.
Come January 1st, the youth group & I will be making the trip back to Covington, Georgia for our annual Winter Weekend camp event-
an event we didn't make it to last year because of a horrid turn of events on the way.
The closer the departure date draws near, the more I am reminded of this image:

At around 8 a.m., near the Florida/Georgia line, my youth pastor got a phone call, and our charter bus suddenly turned around.

His mercy and grace is forever
and His love endless- endures
we Thy children- yea, we the daughter and sons
praise Thee Father in Heaven Three in essence but in union One
Praise Yahweh Sabaoth
for His awesome deeds
His love and grace is from age to age
His name be glorified and exalted on high
yeah I raise my hands and praise the God of Heaven
Yeah I praise His name up on high
The children will know Your glory o God
yeah, those who hear Your calling Lord
The children will know Your deeds O God
for Your works are seen in the depths of the earth
See the rivers they run fast and wid

He could hear their sickening chants, their mocking voices. They danced around Him, teasing him, hitting Him. The occasional one spit at him. Yet He didn’t flinch, didn’t curse – just remained perfectly still.
He saw their faces, the faces of children; the Devil’s children. Dirty, filthy, with yellow teeth and small black eyes. He shut His own eyes and let out only the faintest whisper of a groan, barely audible. But they didn’t hear it – they just kept dancing around, spitting and laughing. One picked up a long, leather strap, and brought it down against His back. He flinched, but didn’t pull away.
Now they all had straps, and chains as wel

Revelations 1:5-6 (KJV) "And from Jesus Christ, who is the Faithful Witness, and the first Begotten of the Dead, and the Prince of the Kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen."
