The Lord has risen alleluia...There above a valley highThe Lord has risen alleluia... by cereal-in-a-bowl
where great light was bound and crucified
upon a wooden post there lay
unblemished lamb so clean but slain
His countenance astounds the beacon of the sun
whose rays cannot be as He the Son...
Whose royalty and sovereign rank
made humble and low for sake of man...
The fields were dulled with stains of spring
whose imprints left where they were treading
the grass so green and so robust
crown of glorious emerald and gold
the sun swept off the last speck of dust
of night where it slept, swept away the last speck of dust
o how the wine had spilled away
and how the white had mingled with the red bouquet
smelled like Frankincense
smelled like myrrh
smelled like wine all three in fervour
they twisted and etched itself and bound
smelled all three ...all three smells I smelled...
The lamb so meek and humble creature
laid so still in the pasture
its head rested upon a rood
surrounded with flowers upon its woollen head
his eyes had blinked and then it made a soft and gent
Through the Narrow gateI wandered through a narrow gateThrough the Narrow gate by cereal-in-a-bowl
where the sunlight rose to navigate
along the highway down the street
Persephone made the other flowers all to wake
the skies of course the borders high
were filled with pleasures for the eyes
the ripe sweet apples, pears and peach upon the boughs in heavy weigh
as sweet as the breeze which passed the way
Adonis glared and pursed his lips
immersed in envy hands upon his hips
for even the most magnificent things which grows
of skin soft as cotton, smooth as silk
could not compare to the northward thrill
Round the bend God's angel cried
towards the field the flowers he laughed and cried
the fields burst with gladness transforming wine
from the streams of river under the emerald skies
Persephone her hair of rose
her lips are red as beauty could unfold
her eyes of green her lips part wide
As she laughed a song which echoed round the field in delight
Then she hitched her dress and held it close
to not expose her petticoat
her breast a pair of red pomegranate
Come to God while His mercy still overflowsO vagrant feet o vagabondCome to God while His mercy still overflows by cereal-in-a-bowl
O feet of weary soul strolls down to haunt
a valley filled with creatures which
springs forth from May's menagerie
My tired eyes doth gazed upon this field of plenty
where flowers rose and raised their hands up high
this valley streamed of things which are
rose smell of wine and things bizarre
but peculiar in a gladdening way
enough for my soul to meditate
upon God's glorious things which He has create
the roses white and fields spread astray
her seeds and made them flounder where they may
sat and rest upon the porch
a white and powdery gold encrusted narrow gate
an angel sat with hair so gold
his eyes were pure so pure with pureness which my eyes could not behold
but in his countenance he gave kind admittance
to gaze upon his Divine radiance...
the angel smiled and then he sat upon the tip of the white wooden gate
his wings emerged so white and fine
like silk like cloth made from things which man could not in all creation ever find...
His halo white and gold
Celebration!4/18/14 – Celebration!Celebration! by teamquavers
What is that sound?
How can I describe it?
There is immense joy!
There is celebration!
There is lively music!
There is shouting and dancing!
What could it be?
Why does it stir my soul?
I came and I looked,
the Lord Jesus has risen!
O Ephraim...4/15/14 - O Ephraim...O Ephraim... by teamquavers
O Ephraim, Ephraim, why do you complain?
Do you not realize you were used in mighty way in the hand of God?
You were invaluable in stopping the Midianites,
you blocked their escape from the wrath that was due them.
You were used in a mighty way by a mighty God.
Turn your wailing into joyous praise!
